Snow plowing is the process of pushing snow to a designated area. In Parking lots the snow is typically pushed to the perimeter away from the building and or to designated areas. The plowing process typically begins once snow accumulates to 5 cm or more, to the periphery of your parking lot including: parking, loading and drive areas. It is understood that a reasonable amount of time must exist between a snowfall accumulation of 5 cm per/day and the time that snow plowing operations are completed, ( 4 to 6 hours are considered to be normal). We endeavor to clear snow during the evening so that parking lots are cleared for the morning but sometimes the snow begins just before rush hour. In this instance we try to clear all access routes and as much of the parking lot as possible during the day and any clean-ups or unfinished work due to vehicles in the parking lot will automatically be completed on the night following. Hilton Snow Removal uses a combination of : large loaders, small loaders, dump trucks with plows and pick-up trucks with plows in order to get the job done quickly and efficiently.
